DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) – After local college students celebrated Saint Patrick’s day on the University of Dayton campus, an officer was injured, multiple medical calls were made and people were arrested. The University of Dayton sent its students multiple advisories on Saturday, March 8, during the Saint Patrick’s Day celebration. The university says officers arrested at least six people during its annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration. It was held a week after the holiday as students were on spring break on March 17. A dozen people were arrested and one person is facing charges after crowds of people celebrated St. Patrick’s Day on University of Dayton’s campus Saturday afternoon and evening.
